OpTic made light work of mousesports at ECS Season 4 Finals, winning 16-4 on Mirage in their opening match of Group A.
In the battle of European mixtures, OpTic got off to a flying start on the CT side of Mirage, picking up an early 6-0 lead by winning the pistol as well as the first two gunrounds with relative ease.
MOUZ then got their first on the board, but as no-one survived, they quickly got reset as OpTic reached nine rounds, with the double AWP of Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas doing work in mid. The same situation occurred after Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's men grabbed their second; OpTic replied right back and grabbed a 12-3 half.
With the second pistol round going their way too, there was little hope for a comeback. OpTic got up to 14-3 before MOUZ' desperate Deagle buy worked out, but it wasn't nearly enough as Adam "friberg" Friberg & co. got match point in the following round and closed out the match at 16-4.
